Information entered into calculators
The current calculators perform estimates in your browser. HowToMoney does not intentionally ask for names, identity numbers, account numbers or other information that is unnecessary for a calculation. Do not use a calculator as a permanent record of personal information.
Contact information
If you contact HowToMoney, the details in your message may be used to respond, correct content or improve the website. Do not include passwords, identity documents, account numbers or sensitive personal financial information.
The contact form prepares an email in your own email application. It does not submit the message to a website database. Privacy enquiries may be sent to info@howtomoney.co.za.
Website operations
Hosting and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and request logs.
Cookie-free aggregate analytics
HowToMoney uses Cloudflare Web Analytics on the website and calculators to obtain broad, aggregate statistics such as visits, pages viewed, referring sources, general country and device or browser categories, and website performance. This helps HowToMoney understand overall website usage.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed without analytics cookies, fingerprinting or the collection of personal information for this reporting. HowToMoney does not send the amounts, assumptions, selections or results entered into its calculators to Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held by HowToMoney, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.
